If you are looking to start or grow your photography business, specifically for seniors portraits, I’m here for it! I’m finally sharing my secrets, and I want to cheer you on to success.
I remember not knowing how to take my business to that next level. I would see other’s work and think “how did they get their seniors to pose like that? And still look natural?” I would freeze on pose ideas or how to post my seniors in the most flattering positions for different body types! I love dreamy, backlist images and desperately wanted to shoot that. Not to mention wondering how in the world to set my pricing, or how to have confidence with in-person sales.
I started my business 16 years ago and wondered “will I be able to make a significant living doing this? Newsflash: You can! I searched the internet on my own time, invested thousands (yep, thousands) into bettering my business, and in no time, I took it to a 6 figure business! I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t. And I’m here to share my secrets with you.
A little about me –
I have been a photographer for 16 years, and have been working with seniors for all of them. I started photography education 3 years ago and have found such joy in educating other photographers on how build and grow their business. I’m a talker, I talk fast and a lot. And I LOVE to laugh! So you can expect that from me nearly every time we meet, even if you aren’t a big talker…I’ve got you covered. A little side note – I love keeping up with fashion trends, so styling sessions is super fun for me! I’m a huge fan of Instagram boutiques and hidden gem shops! I work with natural lighting and have a clean editing style, and I love to have fun and laughter at my sessions.
What I provide as a photography coach-
I am super passionate about photographing seniors, obsessed with beautiful, dreamy light. I love having the ability to bring out the most authentic version of my seniors. My goal during sessions is to make my clients feel comfortable, as if they’ve known me for a long time. And it is so fun to guide them through the whole process: the styling process, make up and hair, direct posing, and how to capture the best version of themselves. During a senior session, you have such a small window of time to sculpt the perfect images, so it’s important you have the right tools to do so! My mentoring programs are designed for senior photographers that are new, as well as not-so-new…because YOU set the pace for what you’d like to learn! We build your mentoring session or day with what you want to learn based off of your specific pain points.
Ways to work with me –
1-Hour Zoom Call
Do you ever think…”How does she do XYZ?” or “I just want to ask a few questions…”? In this 1 hour photography mentoring call, we will narrow to your specific 1 or 2 pain points and focus on moving past those. Maybe it’s marketing strategies, Instagram engagement, posing, client management & workflow, in-person ordering, ways to make your senior experience stand out…you decide what we will cover. After payment, a questionnaire will be sent to you to better understand what you might want to learn from me. As well as, a calendar to select your Zoom call date and time.
Full Day In Person Mentoring
Join me here for a full day of learning at my studio outside of Dallas, Texas. The bonus of 1:1 mentoring is YOU get to decide what we will discuss! Typically we cover posing, lighting, social media, marketing, how to build your senior experience, workflow, pricing, in-person sales, model programs, etc. There is an optional end-of-day shoot were you can see first hand how I pose & work with a senior, while building your portfolio. It’s like hiring a private coach for the day! {lunch is included}.
Group Photography Workshop
